Wednesday of the Passion Week is also called Wednesday of Ayoub (Job). Job suffered a lot, but never cursed God and was known for his patience. He represents Christ who willingly received suffering and death, and committed himself into his Father’s hands.
O Christ, may our sufferings be a path of glory to the Father as were yours. Third Prayer, Tuesday Morning of Passion Week, Maronite Liturgy. Through your passion, may we be fortified against temptations. Guide us on our way, grant us victory over the enemy, and make us worthy of the kingdom.
